Dear Syafikah, Even though you have left our class, I will always miss you because you will come to the front and seek some reassurance(sorry I chased you away! I thought you were disturbing my speaking group....) and I like your insatiable quest for knowledge. Don't give up studying in your new chosen field and I hope to see you successful one day. P.S. I miss your sidling into the class long after I have started lessons, at least you made the effort to come to school! You also shocked me one day when you came in, put your bags down, and headed for the biscuit tin!!! You had not have your breakfast, you explained. Well, Syafikah, at least you showed up!!

Raising Green Awareness

Oh Dear!!! I had such a poor response to the last task, nvm, maybe you are all not parents yet and do not know anything on parenting, so I forgive you all for not writing. Today, I have a new writing task for all of you. EVERYBODY HAS TO CONTIRBUTE!!

The Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water recently organised a a Green Carnival. The Green Carnival is to raise green awareness. The objectives are:

• to encourge the community to adopt a greener way of life,
• to protect and preserve the environment,
• introduce green products
• to highlight green initiatives advocated by the government to promote green living.

This is aimed at raising awareness of green practices and to encourage Malaysians from different walks of life to embrace a green lifestyle.

Task: I want you to choose one of the above and write what you have done or are going to do to help promote green living.

Take your tiny tot out for sunday morning outing..it does not matter where and it does not have to be somewhere fancy or expensive. The fact that mummy and daddy takes me out is just great! Mom is in flip flops and carries my milk bottle bag and baby harness, dad is smart casual and me? my favourite Elmo T shirt and skull cap! We are walking down Toa Payoh market and Dad will take me to a dim sum breakfast. Really, even it is kopi o and burnt toast, I won't mind, look, I am so happy with my parents!!!

The Garden

The corner i like which is the garden in my previous house. It was a water fall and defferent type of fish inside it. Beside this also plant a lot of flower, fruit tree and also some kind of herb. Such as orchid, papaya, banana...

When i was small, I like to plant some vege or flower inside the garden. Every weekend i also busy in the garden. I will watering, fertilized, remove the glass, and so on. Althought it was quite tired, but when the plant were blooming or bearing fruit. Some kind of feeling will come out form my heart which is cannot describable.

Sometimes when i was feeling moody i will sit on the meadow. Listen to the water sound, and feel the wind that pass thought my body. And i will fell all the presure will go with the wind.

I miss my garden so much...

This is my dream favourite room , a movie room or in malay we called it as "bilik tayangan" , comfortable sofa , air condition ,and a little table inside the room for us to enjoying our junk food ....... Light up the projector , start the DVD video and the sharp and beautiful music that surrounding the room from the hi-fi speaker. I can enjoy karaoke and rock musical with my dearest friends , or watching romantic love movie with my darling in this room . However, dreams are not reality, its the only kind of real fantasy , it is not the real , it isn't in my house , and also the costly and expensive musical videos are blacked out of my mind . Besides that, my house was an apartment, a boring apartment and the annoying neighbours will complain for noisy when i enjoy my movie with the loud speaker . Therefore , i decide to enjoy this favourite hobby in the cinema or the karaoke box =)

My Outdoor bathroom ala Bali

The best corner in my house is none other than my outdoor bathroom..the floor is nothing but pebbles, the wall is rough hewn stones joined together, the roof is....UNCOVERED!!!! I love to shower here especially in the rain, I let the rainwater splash on me together with my own rain-shower head......oooooo...bliss!

Our abode is not just a source of pride and joy. It's a private place where we can relax and recharge. Embellishing our little "castle" with things that bring us pleasure is but one of the things we do to make our home a tad more cosy and liveable.

But do we all know what we really want? Do you have an eye for the finer things in life?

Our Classmate, Amirul

Our classmate Amirul has been absent for a few days so we dropped in for a visit.

He is the one in clutches.

Here is Amirul and his mother who brings out Amirul's x ray negatives which clearly shows the 2 titanium screws.

Nasi Kerabu ( Herbed Rice)

But i will pronoun it as nasi kelehbu ...hehe xP

The recipe of nasi kerabu:

To make the kerabu toast the grated coconut in a dry pan, over low

heat making sure to stir constantly until it turns golden brown.

Next blend the ginger and shallots together . After that, add flaked fish,
blended ingredients, and kerisik in a bowl and mix it .

To make the sauce :Grind the chillies and shallots together .Add in
blended spices with coconut milk, asam keping , lemongrass ,salt and sugar.

To make the garnishing , put the budu and sliced bird chillies with lime wedges.

To serve the nasi kerabu ~ Put rice on a plate , several pinches of the herb and vegetable garnishes accompany with Ayam Percik .


It is the yummy yummy meals for your dinner ....hehe^^

Yum Yum , Its a CHINESE traditional food right now ~~~

haha ~~~~ what i want to share to u all is the gold golden SWEET & SOUR CHICKEN or the chinese called it as KU LOW chinken . It came from HongKong and brought to Malaysia ~~~ The golden chicken flesh , sweet tomato sauce mix with sour pineapple pulp , healthy and fresh cucumber and onion slices ...... Whoa ~~~ what a perfect match, U gonna have to try this .......

The charming and the shiny golden chicken flesh makes me addicted on it , fragrant smell from the dish flow slowly and slowly to my nose , and the action that we will do the next is ...... taste it, springy and crispy chicken ...... in your mouth , chew it , bite it ,you feel sweet and a little sour that brought by the pineapple pulp , sweet and sour taste fullfill your mouth , then swallow it slowly and slowly , enjoy the food with my dearest family and friends ~~~ enjoying the prosperity and the happiness with them ....... Especially in the Chinese New Year , majority of the chinese families will cook or order this delicious dishes because they believe the dish will bring happiness , prosperity , richness and wealthy to them , including me , i believe this legend , the tradition ..... from the ancestors to the new generation , from the old to the young , this dish is meaningful ........ because the taste and the colour of the dish bringing some auspicious meaning, the sweetness of the dish , means happiness and friendly ~~~ the second meaning is the colour , the golden and red colour of this dish will give prosperity and richness ...... What a meaningful and delicious recipe ? This is why I love this Ku Low Chicken so much ..... Love it until i want to cook it ..... i learned from my mum 3 days and finally i succeed !!! Oh yea baby =)

This was a great receipe. The chicken was very tender and tasted great! I fixed extra and feed my family member before and there was nothing left. It was a big hit! The sweet & sour sauce was really good too! I ended up not having the golden red food coloring but it still tasted really good. I did add a little more sugar then what was called for and it tasted just like we had ordered out. I love this food so much ...... really !!! Compare to the western , korean and japanese food , i would like to choose the chinese food , i've been proud to my own race , and the last i hope i can share this food to the whole wide world , and introduce more chinese auspicious and meaningful foods to everyone of you , my friend ~~~~ We are the world ~~~ =)

Today we learn about how to make a creamy,yummy coleslaw.
Ingredients:
a cup of cabbage-sliced
a cup of carrot-sliced
mayonis-1 tbls
coleslaw sause-2tbls
salt-a little bit

Method:

1. Very easy,just mix all ingredients together and place on fridge.
2. After an hour,take it out and serve coolly.

Muet Teacher's Tips on Preparation for MUET Exam.

I am a MUET teacher and I contend that Nurly obtained a Band 6 due to her proficiency in the language. However, those who are not, cannot afford to sit on their laurels.

1. You have to go the extra mile to prepare well ahead for the MUET papers.
2. Use the language more often; in fact as much as you can, with your friends, family and
teachers.
3. Spend time reading the newspaper to keep abreast with the current issues.
4. Keep a scrapbook to collect articles.
5. Look up the meaning of words and record them down to help enrich your vocabulary.
6. Purchase a simple reference book for basic grammar, even the ones used by the lower
secondary would do as grammar is grammar and will not change no matter what level you
are in.

You would be surprised how these simple efforts can go a long way in helping you improve in the language.
